Nusheena is an Australian-owned boutique brand dedicated to timeless, high-quality wardrobe staples.

Some journeys begin with a destination. Others begin with a philosophy.

For Nusheena, our story began long before the brand itself existed.

In the 1980s, our founder’s mother would often remind her of a simple but powerful principle:
business must be ethical, sustainable, and honest. For her, this was not a trend or a marketing idea, it was the only true way to create something meaningful.

These words stayed with us.

In 2015, in Malaysia, our journey in the fashion world began. We worked with beautiful natural materials including linen, cotton, and silk, always guided by the desire to offer pieces made with care, quality, and respect for the craft.

But our curiosity about textiles and natural fibres never stopped growing.

Soon we discovered the world of cashmere. We were fascinated by the craftsmanship, the softness of the fibre, and the centuries-old traditions behind it. Yet at the time, we knew it would not fit the tropical climate of Malaysia.

Life, however, has its own way of connecting ideas and places.

When we later settled in Melbourne, a city known for its cool winters and appreciation for timeless fashion, everything suddenly made sense. Cashmere was no longer just a fascination, it was the perfect answer.

Inspired by Mongolian craftsmanship and guided by the values passed down from our founder’s mother, we created Nusheena. 

Today, Inner Mongolian Cashmere brings together ethical sourcing, sustainable practices, and timeless design, offering collections made from the finest fibres and crafted with deep respect for tradition.

Each piece reflects a journey across continents, from the values of the past, to the landscapes of Mongolia, to the vibrant style of Melbourne.
